Blake Bortles- Super Bowl LII MVP
The Wild-Card weekend is over, so let the real fun begin. 8 teams, 4 weeks, 1 Champion. Some teams have been here before. Others haven’t been here in a long time. What ever the teams case they all know if they lose then their season is over.
NFC-
Atlanta vs. Philadelphia-
For the Eagles with Went out there is no telling what will happen. Foles has not done terrible as his replacement but it still is no Went.
Atlanta, lets face it after last year this year has been nothing short of a let down. Going 11-6 and having to play in the Wild-Card games after going to the Super Bowl last year just is not what you want from the Run-Ups from last year.
The Birds will be flying. But only one can come out on top. If Atlanta can lock down Ertz and the passing attack then they may have a chance, but even then it may not be enough. The Eagles can only hope the Ryan and Jones dont do what they do best and make people cry about the air attack.
Round up and the Eagles Win by 5. Making it a Close one but the Falcons just cant keep up.
New Orleans vs. Minnesota
The Saints have had a good season. Still having to play in the Wild-Card they had a good season. Brees was Brees and threw the ball around like he always does.
When you here about the Vikings Nobody thought they would be here. Keenum had an amazing break out year. They Post-Peterson Era began.
A Viking and a Saint. Sounds like the start to some kind of joke. This game should be a good one though. Old vs New.
Holy close. A 1 point game. Viking win in a nail biter.
NFC Championship Game-
Vikings vs Eagles
The Eagles got out of a close one but still had a good margin for the win. Even with out Wentz running the show they are still pushing along.
How the Vikings got out of that last one nobody knows. A last second Field goal? A missed extra point. Whatever the case the won.
Both teams come into this game looking to go back to the Super Bowl for the first time in over a Decade for both teams. Needless to say there will be some happy fans after this one.
Both teams want it (obvi). Well this game goes into overtime. It comes down to the wire but the Vikings Pull it off just barely getting a Touchdown in the final seconds of OT to send them to their first Super Bowl since 1974.
AFC-
Titans vs. Patriots
How the Titans beat the Panthers is beyond me. But hey they did it. They have been in the rebuilding stages ever since Vince young was their (ouch). So with that they are riding hot and ready to take on whoever they were going to face. Even if that was going to be the Defending Super Bowl Champs.
What is there to say about the Patriots that hasn’t already been said? Will their off field problems carry over to the field? Will Tom Brady be able to survive another game of football? We will see.
This is a True Dave vs Goliath. The little guys vs the big guys.
This game really was just a tune up for what is coming in the next week.
Jaguars vs. Steelers
Jacksonville is riding high. After taking down the Bills Mafia last week. A team that nobody had hope in a the beginning of the season is on the verge of do something great. Not to mention that Blake Bortles is riding high after his alma mater won the “National Title”.
The Steelers dont care who comes to town. If you aren’t in the black and yellow then get out of the way.
Getting cocky and looking head the Steelers wont pay much attention to what this week means. With their eyes set on the Patriots next week.
With the Upset of the year. Jacksonville pulls it off. Just by the skin of their teeth. Last second field goals will do that to you.
AFC Championship Game-
Jaguars vs Patriots
After last weeks crazy upset. The Jaguars come in riding two big wins two weeks in a row.
The Patriots being the Patriots are excited to have to play Jacksonville. Not having to go through the Steelers to get to the Super Bowl is HUGE!
This game should be nothing but a cake walk for the Patriots. But that is what the Steelers thought and they are sitting on the couch right now.
Are you kidding me. Both Championship games go to overtime. The Patriots hoping to go back for a another ring and to win in back to back years. The Jaguars hoping to pull off another upset and to make it to the Super Bowl for the first time in Franchise history.
And guess what? Blake Bortles does it for the UCF Knights. He will be playing and trying to bring a ring home to Central Florida.
Super Bowl-
Vikings vs. Jaguars
Ok who would have ever guess this was going to be how this years NFL Season was going to end. Two teams that both had no chance at the start of the season to make it this far did. But yet here they are. Both trying to bring home a Super Bowl for their Franchise.
The Vikings have won both their playoff games by only 1 points in regulation and having to take the other to overtime to win and that was even a close one.
With the Jaguars pulling off three huge upsets three weeks in a row who wants to play them? It is all about getting hot at just the right time.
This game is going to be a close one. Get the popcorn, Beer, Coke whatever you have at your Super Bowl party and buckle down. This is going to be good.
You have got to be kidding me. This game goes into overtime. For the Second year in a row the Super Bowl goes into overtime! But at the end of the day Blake Bortles does it. He wins the MVP and Brings home a Ring for not just the Jaguars first Super Bowl but for UCF and their National Title.
