The JuCo Baseball Blog Rankings- Week 3
This past week was the first week where almost every team in the Top 25 lost. 7 teams in the Top 10 lost on top of that. Some were to other ranked teams but then others were just upset.
With Chipola losing to then un-ranked State College of Florida going and then #16 Wallace-Dothan. They went 2-2 for the week Dropping them to #5.
San Jac the new #1 split a series with McLennan and then swept Navarro, finishing the week 3-1.
McLennan Stayed at #4 even though then went 1-2 this weekend their 2 losses were to Then #2 San Jac and #7 Howard.
Howard started the season going 2-1. Splitting a Series with Navarro, Having a strong starting performance from Chandler Coates throwing 6 shutout innings, an Arkansas State Commit. Then beating #4 McLennan.
The Biggest move this week was from Central Arizona. Going 5-0 this week them come in at #2. Picking up where they left off with a weekend series sweep of El Paso.
Joining the Top 25 is State College of Florida at #24. With a season record of 9-3 with a big win this past weekend over then #1 Chipola.
Dropping out was NMJC. With their only game being a loss this week to Ranger. They did not drop out of the top 30, however.
