The Jaw Bats Series of the Weekend-(2/23-2/25)
Is there any better way to start the season than by playing a series against one of the top teams in the country? Well, that's how #6 Iowa Western will start their season off this weekend. They will play #7 Crowder in Neosho, Missouri.
For Crowder, they are 7-1 with an average score being 9-4. For their pitching staff, they average 12.05 K/9 while holding a 4.66 ERA. On the offense's side, they have two guys that are starting the season off as hot as they can.
- Kobe Morris a Sophomore Infielder from Canada is hitting .680, with 4 HR, 1-3b, 3-2b, and 11 RBI’s.
- Drew Reilly a Sophomore Outfielder also from Canada is hitting .455 with 2-3b, 1-2b 6 RBI, and 3 Stolen Bases.
As for Iowa Western, this will be their first games this season so there are not much stats on them. They are however coming off of there 8th straight 40+ win season which can mean only one thing they are locked and loaded to go after falling short last year.
